Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of GrowthSignal Tools (“the tools”), a free image utility service operated by GrowthSignal at tools.growthsignal.live. By using the tools you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tools.

1. The service

The tools let you convert images (for example HEIC/HEIF to JPG) directly in your browser session, free of charge. Optionally, you can save a converted file to your own Google Drive. Files are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored by us — see our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptable use

• You must own, or have the right to process, any image you upload.
• You must not use the tools for unlawful content or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• You must not abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent its rate limits or size limits, or attempt to access files or systems you are not authorised to.

3. Google Drive integration

If you connect Google Drive, you authorise the tools to create files in your Drive on your behalf using the drive.file scope. The tools can only manage files they create; they cannot access your other Drive content. You may revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the images you upload and to the files you save to your Drive. We claim no ownership over your content and do not retain it.

5. No warranty

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversions will be suitable for any particular purpose. Always keep your own copy of important files.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrowthSignal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the tools. As the tools are provided free of charge, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use them (which is zero).

7. Intellectual property

The GrowthSignal and GrowthSignal Tools names, logos, and the software behind the service are owned by GrowthSignal. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding.

8. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the tools, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at GrowthSignal’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
